One early spring, while working on my computer at home, a beautiful woodpecker landed on the porch. It stayed long enough for me to grab my camera and take a shot.

After looking at the picture, I thought, 'Hmmmm, I wish you could have landed on something nicer than the porch rails!' So, I set aside my computer, went outside, and returned with a piece of an old birch tree. I made a little hole, placed some sunflower seeds on it, and put it on top of the rail. Then, I waited.

To my surprise, he came back, and voila! Little by little, I began taking photos of the birds that visited, adding flowers from my gardens, and searching for interesting things to complement the pictures.

To put them to good use, we are creating complimentary greeting cards. Every bouquet will go home with the one you choose.

Packages of 25 greeting cards with corresponding envelopes will be available for purchase (5 of each). It is my hope to add 5 more pictures every year to the collection.
